Pediatric Specialty Care at Hopewell is hiring Respiratory Therapists to care for children and young adults with complex medical and respiratory needs in a supportive, home-like environment.

This is an opportunity to develop or expand your experience in pediatric respiratory care, ventilator management, tracheostomy care, weaning, and respiratory rehabilitation. If you bring a strong respiratory foundation, sound clinical judgment, and a genuine interest in working with children, our team will help you build the specialized skills needed for the role.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT)

  Provide respiratory care to children and young adults with complex needs

  n
n
• n

  Perform respiratory assessments and support ventilator and tracheostomy management

  n
n
• n

  Participate in weaning, rehabilitation, and individualized respiratory care planning

  n
n
• n

  Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, therapists, and families

  n
n
• n

  Educate families, caregivers, and employees on respiratory equipment and procedures

  n
n
• n

  Support each child’s stability, function, comfort, and long-term goals

  n
n

Qualifications

Respiratory Therapist (RT) Qualifications:

• n

  Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy required (Bachelor’s preferred)

  n
n
• n

  Active, unencumbered Pennsylvania Respiratory Therapist license

  n
n
• n

  RRT or CRT credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care

  n
n
• n

  Current CPR (AHA Healthcare Provider) certification

  n
n
• n

  Must be at least 21 years of age

  n
n
• n

  Pediatric, ventilator, or long-term care experience preferred (but not required — we will support training)

  n
n
