The Registered Therapist is primarily responsible for providing basic and advanced professional respiratory care services to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients under the medical direction of the medical director of Respiratory Therapy. The therapist plans, implements, evaluates, and modifies respiratory care according to the individual needs of the patient. The therapist is required to make independent judgments within the scope of responsibilities. Is required to make appropriate and accurate observations and communicate with the care team.
72 hours bi-weekly, 7:00am - 7:00pm, every other weekend
Must successfully complete the written registry exam and the clinical simulation exam to achieve the RRT or CRT
