As a Certified Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in administering safe and competent respiratory care across various specialty areas, including Emergency, Neonatal, Pediatric, Geriatric, and Critical Care. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering all Respiratory Care procedures competently as per department policies
• Maintaining accurate documentation of procedures
• Verifying and executing physician orders for Respiratory Care
• Participating in department meetings and patient care rounds
• Monitoring and managing mechanical ventilation and patient assessments
• Performing effective airway management and assisting with intubation
• Training and orienting new employees and students
• Performing arterial blood gas draws and interpreting results
• Ensuring compliance with safety and infection control protocols

Qualifications for this role include:

• Graduate of a COARC approved Respiratory Care Program with CRT Credential
• BLS certification (within 90 days of hire)
• NRP certification (within 6 months of hire)
• At least one year of respiratory experience in a hospital setting
• Need 1 year experience in setting
