Respiratory Therapist **BONUS ELIGIBLE

Summary
Under medical supervision, delivers respiratory care services to patients in all areas of the Hospital (e.g. Intensive Care Units, medical and surgical floors, emergency department, post-anesthesia care units, and infant nurseries). Respiratory Therapists must maintain standards of performance for the area assigned and may be required to supervise the work of other therapists and/or students.
Minimum Qualifications

1. Completion of one of the following:

• Current Pennsylvania licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner or Osteopathic Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Current Pennsylvania Temporary Practice Permit as a Respiratory Therapist AND Pennsylvania licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner or Osteopathic Respiratory Care Practitioner within 6 months of hire.
• Successful completion of the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Certification AND Pennsylvania licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner or Osteopathic Respiratory Care Practitioner within 6 months of hire.

1. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

1. Minimum of one year previous clinical respiratory care experience.
