Equipment and Environment Responsibilities • Clean, disinfect, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain spirometry, PFT, and other respiratory equipment according to established protocols and manufacturer guidelines. • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized testing environment. • Monitor clinical supplies and help ensure necessary equipment and supplies are available when needed. Qualifications: Required • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program through CoARC or CAAHEP. • Current NBRC credential as a CRT or RRT. • Active Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner license. • Current BLS certification. • 2–5+ years of respiratory therapy experience. • Experience performing pulmonary function testing in any clinical setting. • Comfortable working independently and managing responsibilities with minimal supervision. • Dependable, professional, and committed to providing quality patient care. • Comfortable using computers and standard electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in outpatient pulmonary care, pulmonary rehabilitation, or sleep medicine. • Experience with pulmonary function testing and sleep diagnostics is a plus. • Experience with DME coordination and PAP therapy, including CPAP/BiPAP. • Familiarity with prior authorizations and insurance processes. • RPSGT certification or sleep diagnostics experience may qualify for a higher compensation range. • Bilingual skills are a plus. • ACLS certification is a plus but not required for this outpatient position.
