This role is responsible for observing and monitoring residents’ respiratory status and promptly communicating any changes to Respiratory Therapists and the care team.
All responsibilities are performed under the guidance and supervision of the Respiratory Director.Key Responsibilities for Respiratory Monitors:Monitor residents’ respiratory status and overall conditionPromptly report any changes or concerns to Respiratory Therapists and nursing staffAssist in maintaining a safe and supportive environment for ventilator-dependent residentsCollaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of careQualifications of Respiratory Monitors:Ability to work independently and as part of a teamStrong attention to detail and observational skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHealthcare experience preferred (SNF or ventilator unit experience is a plus, but not required)Join a facility committed to clinical excellence and compassionate care.
