For over a decade, our core clinical and support teams have worked side-by-side, delivering compassionate, evidence-based treatment that changes lives.As part of the Altior network, you'll find the stability of an established organization with the heart of a close-knit treatment community where every role matters.Position SummaryThe Residential Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of an assigned dorm at residential treatment center, ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and quality of care for all clients housed in the dorm.

This role supervises both Lead Clinical Assistants and Clinical Assistants, coordinates shift coverage, enforces facility processes, policies and procedures, and serves as the primary point of escalation for incidents, staffing issues, and client needs during their assigned shift or coverage period. In short, the Residential Supervisor "owns" the shift.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise, mentor and coach residential direct care staff (Lead Clinical Assistants and Clinical Assistants) to ensure adequate coverage and quality of care across all shifts. Works with Program administrator on dorm shift coverage and communicates call outs to team members.Conduct regular staff check-ins, performance feedback, and supports ongoing training and competency development.

Primary point of contact/training for any new hires on shift to ensure they have the tools and information to do their job correctly.Partners with clinical staff to monitor and enforce adherence to client treatment/support plansRespond to and de-escalate crisis situations, behavioral incidents, and emergencies; complete required incident documentationPartners with medical team to oversee medication administration protocolsMaintain accurate, timely documentation of shift activities, client notes, and incident reportsServe as a liaison between direct care staff, clinical team, and program leadershipConduct facility safety checks and ensure a clean, safe, and therapeutic living environmentParticipate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergenciesAssist with quality assurance audits and corrective action plans as neededQualificationsRequired:High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or bachelor's degree in human services, Psychology, Social Work, or related field preferred2+ years of experience in a residential, behavioral health, or human services setting1+ years of supervisory or lead experience preferredAbility to pass background check, drug screening, and compliance needs (water safety, CPR, etc) per state licensing requirementsPreferred:Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systemsKnowledge of trauma-informed care principlesPhysical RequirementsAbility to respond quickly to emergency situations, including physical intervention if trained and certified (e.g., CPI, MANDT)Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededAbility to lift up to 25-40 lbs as neededCore CompetenciesCrisis management and de-escalationTeam leadership and staff developmentRegulatory compliance and documentation accuracyCommunication and interpersonal skillsSound judgment under pressureSalary Range$63,000 - $68,000 USDBenefitsComprehensive benefits package: medical, dental, and vision.401k with 4% match.Paid Time Off Programs including vacation, holidays, and illness.Chef made meals onsite.Professional trainings provided for development; continuing education assistance for clinicians.Supportive clinical supervision and professional development.Altior Healthcare is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, orientation, national origin, age, disability, genetics or any other basis forbidden under federal, state, or local law.
