Residential Programs CoordinatorWe are seeking a Residential Programs Coordinator to provide leadership, oversight, and operational support within residential treatment programs. This role is responsible for supervising staff, coordinating daily operations, supporting admissions and census goals, and ensuring a safe, structured, and recovery-oriented environment. Chestnut also conducts research and training throughout the U.S.A.ResponsibilitiesSupervise, hire, schedule, and evaluate assigned staff to ensure adequate coverage and optimal program operationsProvide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to Residential Technicians, Drivers, Recovery Support Staff, and InternsSupport staff retention and deliver a strong onboarding experience to promote engagement and high-quality service deliveryCoordinate staffing schedules, including coverage for unplanned absencesCollaborate with leadership to maintain optimal census levels and support admissions processesProvide and document supervision; complete performance evaluations in a timely mannerReview and approve staff timesheets and time-off requests in alignment with payroll scheduleOversee ordering and maintenance of non-medical supplies and inventoryMaintain menus in collaboration with dietician and food service providers; ensure compliance with food sanitation standardsCoordinate and participate in staff meetings, quality management (QM) activities, and program initiativesEnsure residential units are clean, safe, and conducive to recovery in collaboration with facilities and unit staffMaintain a strong on-site presence to support staff, address issues, and model best practicesPromote a team-oriented environment that emphasizes communication, accountability, and continuous improvementLeadership & CultureModel recovery-oriented values including hope, respect, empowerment, wellness, and connectednessFoster a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach in all staff and client interactionsEncourage staff development, engagement, and participation in program growthPromote healthy work practices, including appropriate breaks and work-life balanceMaintain accessibility and responsiveness to staff needs while reinforcing accountability and professionalismQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferredMinimum of three (3) years of experience in scheduling, inventory management, or program coordinationAt least one (1) year of supervisory experience requiredMust obtain Food Sanitation certification within 6 months of hire (if not already certified)Strong verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and electronic medical record (EMR) systemsDemonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and exercise sound judgment in scheduling and admissions-related decisionsUnderstanding of staff recruitment, engagement, retention, and training practicesAbility to maintain confidentiality and adhere to organizational and documentation protocolsChestnut offers a competitive salary structure and robust benefits package.EOE – Minorities/Females/Veterans/Disabled.
