East End Disability Associates Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides services and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). EEDA is hiring a full-time Residential Manager who will be responsible for managing all aspects of a 6-bed residential home located in Baiting Hollow, NY.
Shift : Sunday-Thursday. House based on program needs with the expectation that you work several evenings. This position requires 24/7 on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities
- Maintain staff ratios to ensure adequate supervision of the people supported and to ensure quality direct care services are provided.
- Develop and maintain budgets for all participants.
- Provide opportunities for the people supported to improve their Independent Living Skills through ongoing training, residential services, and community-based learning opportunities in the following areas: nutrition, fire safety, social skills, cooking, community interaction, budgeting, travel training, leisure and recreation skills development, and other areas as needed.
- Ensure the people supported are living in a safe and clean environment in the residence and vehicles. Make sure the residences are stocked with adequate supplies for self-care tasks, cleaning and recreational opportunities as well as ensuring there is an ample supply of food and beverages.
- Ensure all billing requirements are being met and approve weekly staff timesheets.
- Ensure all medical needs are monitored for each person supported including scheduling, attending, and following up on all medical appointments and treatments as necessary.
- Maintain communication with family members, OPWDD, Care Managers, Day Program and Clinical staff to ensure all needs are being addressed for each person supported.
- Make regular scheduled (and unscheduled as needed) visits to the people supported in the program to ensure satisfaction; monitor that the needs are being met for each person supported; and to amend plans/budgets as needed.
- Ensures all Residential Program Documentation requirements are met including Residential Staff Action Plans, Daily and Monthly Progress Notes, MAR, Incident Reports, and other documentation as needed.
- Participate in monthly training meetings, Interdisciplinary Team meetings and any other assigned meeting or training.
- Maintain communication with RN and LPN to oversee the medical needs of every person living in the residence and to arrange any medical appointments necessary.
- Participate in all OPWDD surveys of assigned program.
- Develop and maintain a flexible work schedule that meets the needs of the program including availability on weekends and evenings as needed.
Requirements
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must hold a valid NYS driver's license with an acceptable record.

Directly supervises the Assistant Residential Manager and Direct Support Professionals within the Residential Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
