Residential ManagerJoin Our Team and Make a Difference!The ARC of the Treasure Coast is seeking a compassionate and experienced Residential Manager to oversee our group homes serving individuals with developmental disabilities. This vital leadership role ensures a safe, supportive, and home-like environment where residents can thrive.ResponsibilitiesSupervise all aspects of group home operations, including individuals and staff.Ensure Individual Program Plans (IPPs) and behavior plans are implemented, documented, and updatedMaintain accurate attendance, medication, and financial records for individuals.Coordinate medical appointments and ensure proper documentation is submitted to Waiver Support Coordinators.Oversee menu planning, food supplies, and adherence to nutritional guidelines.Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate staff while fostering a positive, team-oriented culture.Conduct regular staff meetings, self-government meetings, and monthly fire drills.Respond to emergencies and provide on-call support as needed.Review and complete incident and accident reports promptly.Ensure compliance with all Department of Health (DOH) and Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) regulations.Maintain individual and home files according to regulatory standards.Prepare and submit quarterly progress reports and annual summaries for each individual.Communicate regularly with families, support coordinators, and day programs.QualificationsEducation: Associate's degree in Human Services or Business Administration preferred. High school diploma or GED plus 3+ years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities required.Knowledge of: Developmental disabilities and behavior management techniques.
Supervisory and management best practices. Computer applications and documentation systems (e.g., Therap).Skills: Strong communication, organization, and leadership abilities. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
