Residential Manager

Residential Supervisor with LifeQuest in South Dakota, overseeing Bartscher House , a residence for four men with developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of 7 Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) .
• Support individuals with developmental disabilities in developing independent living skills such as:
  • Household tasks: cleaning, meal prep, laundry, grocery shopping
  • Financial management/budgeting
  • Social activities
  • Community involvement
• Help residents achieve their highest level of independence.
• Promote individual rights and self-directed days.
• Participate in an on-call rotation .
• Work a variable schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays .

Required Qualifications

Either:

• Associate's degree in: Psychology, Sociology, Special Education, or Human Services

Or:

• High school diploma plus 3+ years of employment with a community-based agency serving people with developmental disabilities .
