Resident Program CoordinatorThe Resident Program Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing engaging life enrichment programs that support the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive well-being of residents. This role fosters a vibrant community by promoting participation in activities, events, and outings that enhance quality of life. The coordinator works collaboratively with residents, families, volunteers, and team members to ensure programs are meaningful, inclusive, and aligned with resident interests and abilities.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist in planning, coordinating, and facilitating resident activities and programsDevelop and support a variety of recreational, educational, social, cultural, and wellness programsEncourage resident participation and foster social connection and engagementAssist with special events, outings, and community-wide celebrationsSet up, break down, and organize activity spaces, supplies, and equipmentSupport one-on-one engagement for residents who prefer or require individualized activitiesGather feedback and help adjust programming to meet resident interests and needsCommunication & CoordinationServe as a liaison between residents and internal departmentsCommunicate daily activity schedules, event reminders, and community updatesMaintain accurate calendars, attendance records, sign-up sheets, and participation logsCollaborate with nursing, dining, and other departments to support resident engagementBuild positive relationships with residents, families, volunteers, and team membersQualificationsEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredExperience in senior living, recreation therapy, activities, hospitality, or related field preferredPrior experience working with older adults in assisted living, skilled nursing, memory care, or independent living strongly preferredWe value our employees and offer:Medical, Dental, and Vision InsurancePaid Time OffMileage stipend for eligible employeesBasic Life and AD&D Insurance401(k) with company matchTelemedicineTuition ReimbursementEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Compassionate Action Relief for Employees (C.A.R.E.
