You'll help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment that truly feels like home — while building meaningful relationships with residents and their families.What You'll Do:Provide direct care & support:Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and groomingSupport residents with dementia by providing individualized, respectful careEncourage independence and emotional well-being by honoring daily routines and preferencesMonitor resident safety and promptly report concernsSupport dining & daily activities:Assist during mealtimes, including feeding and cleanup when neededHelp create a vibrant daily experience through social engagement and activitiesParticipate in household tasks to keep the environment clean and welcomingCommunicate & document effectively:Observe and report changes in resident condition or behaviorHelp maintain accurate care documentation and contribute to care planningCommunicate kindly and clearly with families, team members, and supervisorsBe a team player:Follow infection control and safety protocolsAssist coworkers as needed and help maintain a positive, team-focused environmentTake ownership of your job duties and pride in your workWhat You'll Need:High School Diploma or GEDExperience in senior care or dementia care preferredA compassionate, reliable, and patient-focused mindsetStrong communication and teamwork skillsWillingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays as neededCPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain upon hireResponsibilities:Assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting their dignity and independence.Provide attentive and compassionate care in accordance with established care plans.Collaborate effectively with nursing and healthcare staff to ensure the well-being and safety of all residents.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.Requirements:Minimum of one year of general caregiving or nurse assistant experience is required.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Compassionate demeanor with a genuine commitment to enhancing the quality of life of senior residents.Benefits:Competitive compensation at $15.00 per hourOpportunities for professional growth and development within a supportive environment.Comprehensive training and ongoing support.Vibrant Life Senior Living is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
