Resident Assistant/CNA/NAR, Assisted Living, Care Suites and Memory Care

Walker Methodist Care Suites provides 72 apartments offering expert care and services to residents as well as respite and transitional care. We serve individuals who need higher levels of assisted living and are specifically designed to provide around‑the‑clock continuous care for both short‑term rehabilitative stays and long‑term residents.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands‑on personal care to meet each resident’s physical health and hygiene needs according to their individual care plan and under the direction of a nurse.
• Perform specialized procedures including medication administration, medication reminders, accurate vital sign monitoring, simple wound care dressing, and catheter care.
• Support residents during scheduled “every other weekend” shifts.

Work Hours

• 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
• 6:30 am to 2:45 pm
• 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm
• 2:30 pm to 10:45 pm
• 10:30 pm to 6:45 am

Qualifications

• One year nursing assistant care experience in a long‑term care or assisted living environment.
• Previous experience in medication administration.
• Basic computer skills with experience or ability to learn electronic health record systems.
• High‑school diploma or equivalent.
• Sensitivity to resident needs and the ability to build positive relationships.
