This position will take the lead role in the loss ratio forecasting process, using research, analysis, collaboration, and judgment.Key functions will include but not be limited to:Provide support for Rate Reviews, Ratemaking, and Actuarial Indications by collecting, compiling and analyzing data on price, exposure, losses, policy, and claim counts pertaining to sameProvide regular estimates of adequate loss and expense reservesProvide support for the company's planning processesAssist Underwriting in identifying segments with profitable growth potential and identify underperforming segments and propose corrective actions to improve profitabilityProvide support for advanced analytics and modeling techniquesProvide support in enterprise risk management, including support for catastrophe management, economic capital modeling, internal rate of return studiesProvide assistance in the development of rating methodologies concerning both existing and new company productsProvide tools and analysis in support of Underwriting's pricing decisions with respect to large accountsQualifications:7-10 years of Property & Casualty actuarial workThe position requires successful completion of at least four actuarial examsExcellent knowledge of Excel spreadsheet software.

Experience with SQL and Power BI is a plusAdvanced actuarial analysisData collection, compilation, and interpretationForecasting and modelingCollaboration and judgment in decision-makingPricing and reserving methodologiesRisk management and financial analysisProficiency with spreadsheet software and databasesEducation:Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, economics, applied mathematics, statistics, computer programming, business or any related fieldAdditional Company Details:We do not accept any unsolicited resumes from external recruiting agencies or firms.
