Full job description
Creative Thermal Solutions in Urbana, IL seeks a Research Engineer/Scientist.
- CTS is a world-renowned R&D company with focus on environmentally friendly energy conversion technologies
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of the thermal sciences
- Experience with instrumentation and data acquisition systems
- Proficiency with MS Office, Engineering Equation Solver, MATLAB, CAD, LabVIEW
Duties:
- Work with a team of mechanical engineers in cutting-edge R&D laboratory environment
- Conduct R&D activities in Thermal and Fluid Sciences, such as design, implementation, and optimization of experimental test facilities
- Independently conduct experiments, analyze/reduce/interpret data, prepare presentations and reports, and interact with customers
- Activities will frequently combine theoretical knowledge and hands-on application
- Successful applicant possesses strong work ethic, is self-motivated and driven, has exceptional problem solving skills and a natural curiosity for the unknown
Required Qualifications:
BS or higher in Mechanical Engineering or other applicable engineering or science fields.
