As a Research Engineer, you'll work alongside experienced researchers to develop and improve generative models while ensuring their safe and effective deployment.What You'll DoContribute to the development of novel machine learning techniques for visual generative modelingImplement and experiment with various generative architectures (Diffusion Models, GANs, Transformers)Help optimize model performance and scaling capabilitiesAssist in ensuring safe and robust model deploymentCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research innovationsParticipate in research discussions and contribute to technical documentationRequired QualificationsBS or MS in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field (recent graduates welcome)2+ years of experience in Machine LearningStrong foundation in machine learning, particularly generative modelsSolid programming skills in Python and PyTorch/TensorFlowExperience with deep learning frameworks and model trainingUnderstanding of fundamental concepts in computer vision and generative AIProject experience (academic or personal) with generative modelsClear communication skills and ability to work in a research teamPreferred QualificationsResearch projects or thesis work in generative AIExperience with different types of generative models:Diffusion ModelsGANsTransformer architecturesLarge Language ModelsFamiliarity with distributed computing and GPU optimizationContributions to open-source ML projectsAcademic publications or workshop papersExperience with ML infrastructure and deploymentThis position is onsite at our San Francisco office (4–5 days per week).We are a fast-paced startup, and our team works very hard to build impactful products quickly.
