Research Contracts AdministratorHelp advance clinical research through strong financial and contract management.We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Research Contracts Administrator to join our Clinical Research team. In this role, you will help ensure the financial and operational success of clinical research studies by supporting budget development, contract administration, financial compliance, and sponsor relations.You'll work closely with research leadership, investigators, study coordinators, sponsors, Contract Research Organizations (CROs), and finance teams to evaluate new research opportunities, negotiate budgets, manage financial processes, and support the successful execution of clinical trial agreements.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys analyzing financial data, negotiating agreements, managing complex processes, and contributing to research that advances patient care and medical innovation.What You'll DoEvaluate the financial and operational feasibility of clinical research opportunitiesDevelop and analyze study budgets to determine economic viability and support research planningParticipate in feasibility reviews and collaborate with research leadership on study assessmentsReview budget-related contract terms and support negotiations with sponsors and CROsCoordinate the preparation, review, and execution of clinical trial agreements, budgets, amendments, and contract extensionsServe as a liaison between research teams, sponsors, CROs, and financial stakeholdersMonitor compliance with contractual payment terms, including startup payments, patient visit reimbursements, enrollment incentives, and milestone paymentsEstablish and maintain study accounts and financial tracking processesSupport research billing activities, fee ticket development, and revenue management processesCollaborate with investigators, study coordinators, coding professionals, and departmental leaders to ensure accurate study-related financial documentationAssist with study revenue projections and financial oversight throughout the research lifecycleProvide guidance and training to affiliated research partners regarding research finance processes and systemsMaintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting related to research contracts and budgetsSupport process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, compliance, and financial performanceWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree requiredStrong analytical, financial, and organizational skillsAbility to interpret contracts, budgets, and financial documentationExperience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyStrong communication and relationship-building skillsAbility to collaborate with internal stakeholders, sponsors, investigators, and research teamsAttention to detail and commitment to accuracyProblem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex financial and contractual situationsProficiency with Microsoft Office and financial management toolsPreferred:MBA or other advanced business degreeExperience with clinical research administration, research finance, healthcare contracts, or grant managementKnowledge of clinical trial budgets, sponsor agreements, and research compliance requirementsExperience working with hospitals, academic medical centers, research organizations, or CROsWhat We OfferA meaningful opportunity to support clinical research that advances patient care and medical discoveryExposure to a wide variety of research studies, sponsors, and healthcare initiativesCollaboration with physicians, researchers, finance professionals, and healthcare leadersOpportunities to develop expertise in research finance, contract administration, and clinical trial operationsProfessional growth through involvement in complex negotiations, financial analysis, and strategic research initiativesA supportive team environment that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous learningCareer advancement opportunities within research administration and healthcare operationsA stable healthcare organization committed to improving lives through research, education, and innovationA culture built on teamwork, accountability, integrity, and excellenceEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
