Pay Range

$82,222.40 - $137,051.20The Research Center Manager is responsible for the administrative management of business functions and coordination of day-to-day center operations. The Research Center Manager provides leadership, management and direction and supports multiple large and complex research efforts conducted by faculty within the center. This individual works with scientific and administrative leadership in the development and implementation of strategic plans, budgets and processes-improvement initiatives, and is accountable for the achievement of program goals, budgets and timelines. The Research Center Manager reports to the Research Center Director.

Required Skills/Knowledge

• Knowledge of Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), including NIH, OHRP, FDA, CDC and OSHA, overseeing the conduct of research.
• Knowledge of Office of Management and Budget Circulars (A-21, A-110, A-133) and federal budgeting and submission guidelines.
• Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
• Knowledge of science laboratories and facilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
