The working environment includes regular and closely monitored explosives handling and detonation.Major Position ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions:Performs standard testing processes on a variety of equipment and records and analyzes results.Records data from testing in standard formats and provides results to product and engineering teams.Assists technical teams with recommendations to resolve testing problems, roadblocks or equipment malfunctions that impact the performance or validity of testing.Requires knowledge of industry specific tests and testing equipment.Supports less experienced colleagues with test engineering supportImpact of Role:Performs manual tasks according to established proceduresRequires full proficiency in a range of technical processes or procedures through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experienceCompletes a variety of atypical assignmentsWorks within defined technical processes and procedures or methodologies and may help determine the appropriate approach for new assignmentsWorks with a limited degree of supervision, with oversight focused only on complex new assignmentsActs as an informal resource for colleagues with less experienceBasic QualificationsRequired Education: Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education and or ExperiencePreferred Education: Associate's DegreeDiscipline/Major: Technical Training PreferredKnowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Engineering Support.
