The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines to fabricate and assemble precision parts, ensuring high-quality production standards. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes and the ability to work with various machines and materials.

The CNC Machinist will play a crucial role in maintaining production efficiency and quality control. All skill levels welcome to apply.Impact of the RoleGeneral ProfileRequires working knowledge and skills to perform a defined set of analytical scientific or operational processesApplies experience and skills to complete assigned work within own area of expertiseWorks within standard operating procedures and/or scientific methodsWorks with a moderate degree of supervisionPerforms manual tasks according to established proceduresEssential FunctionsAssists with the installation, operation, testing, and adjustment of various types of conventional or automatic machines used to produce precision parts and instruments.Fabricates and modifies parts to make or repair machine tools or maintain industrial machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.Machines parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders.Measures, examines, and tests completed units in order to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications.Required QualificationsRequired education and experience: Vocational/Technical Training Degree and 2-5 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or ExperiencePreferred QualificationsPreferred education and experience: Associate's DegreeDiscipline/Major: Technical training preferredKnowledge, skills & abilities: Mathematical skills. Technical expertise. Manual dexterity.
