Power Bi Business AnalystThe Advisory Reporting Team within Fidelity’s Personal Investing (PI) organization produces over 200 recurring reports to support product, sales, operations, oversight, and distribution organizations. In addition, the team is often leveraged for point in time ad hoc reports (Over 400 annually) to enable deep dive analysis and rapid customer response.We are seeking a Power BI Business Analyst to assist the team in designing, building, and deploying our data and reports into new Power BI reports and self-service dashboards. This will be done while ensuring quality data to enable business partners derive strategic insights that support PI’s Managed solutions business area within the overall Wealth management domain.Required Skills: The skills and experience required Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in data analytics; MBA a plus 3-5 years of experience in a data-related or business intelligence position.
Understanding of cloud databases (Oracle, Snowflake), experience with SQL, SSRS, data warehouses Knack for writing clean, testable, readable, and easily maintainable code Knowledge of and experience with tools, techniques and processes for complex data gathering, analysis and reporting on data for large organizations Ensuring the security and confidentiality of all data, information, and documents used in BI operations. Proficiency in data mining, business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI), data processing frameworks, and report writing.
Ability to quickly stage & shape data from data sources into reporting and analytics solutions Develop automated reports and dashboards using Power BI and other reporting tools Deliver automated reporting with robust user functionality (drill down, filtering, etc.).
