Repack Associate / Produce Packer
Location: McAllen, TX
Pay: $10.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–Close (typically 10–12 hour shifts; end time may vary based on workload)
Express Employment Professionals is hiring Repack Associates / Produce Packers for a local produce distribution company in McAllen, TX. This position involves inspecting, sorting, repacking, and preparing fresh produce for distribution.
Job Duties:
- Inspect figs, limes, and other produce for quality
- Remove damaged or spoiled produce
- Sort and repack produce according to company standards
- Label and prepare products for shipment
- Maintain a clean and organized packing area
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
- Assist with other warehouse and production duties as needed
Requirements:
- Previous produce, warehouse, packing, or production experience preferred but not required
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Reliable and dependable
- Open to work long shifts and flexible end times
