Duties
- Engage in administrative and civil litigation related to energy law.
- Provide regulatory counseling and transactional support under major environmental programs.
- Represent clients before the Kentucky Public Service Commission and the Kentucky Electrical Generation and Transmission Siting Board.
- Appeal adverse administrative decisions to Kentucky circuit courts and the Kentucky Court of Appeals.
Requirements
- 2-6 years of substantive experience in administrative/civil litigation and energy law.
- Experience with state or federal administrative law.
- Strong legal writing, research, and analysis skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Willingness to support team members and pursue ongoing education.
- Superior academic credentials.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- Admission to the Kentucky State Bar.
