Overview
The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Virginia invites applications for a full‑time Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology certified pathologist with specialty interest in renal pathology. This is an open‑rank, tenure‑optional position.
The successful candidate will participate in native and transplant kidney sign‑out. The position requires teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. Scholarly activity is expected. Additionally, the qualified candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to work as a team member.

Qualifications
- Education: MD degree or equivalent.
- Certification: Board certification or eligibility in Anatomic Pathology.
- Certification: Board certification or eligibility in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology.
- Licensure: Eligible for an unrestricted license in the State of Virginia.
- Subspecialty fellowship training or expertise in renal pathology.
