Need React and/or NextJS and need to be test savvy. They’re building an application from the ground up. This is a content management system called Tempo.
They’re learning how to use it in conjunction with the One Web technology that Walmart has. It’s what Walmart.com is built on. Health and Wellness initiative is to build all health and wellness stuff onto the web. They will be refactoring some old stuff into the new system. Some of the design is still going on.
It’s going to feel chaotic at the beginning but they’re going to work through it. This team will be consuming APIs. They won’t be writing the APIs. The people who are hired will have a voice in how APIs are shaped. GraphQL is most likely what they’re going to use.
