Web Application Developer
We are looking for a web application developer with very strong Vue.js skills. This person should be able to independently understand and work with a very complex code-base used in web development to help us deploy complex and robust website solutions to clients in the electronics engineering industry.
Responsibilities:
- Support current code base with bug fixes and feature enhancements
- Work with project manager and internal development team to deliver dev tasks on time
- Refactor and upgrade existing code base
- Support QA and UAT efforts to ensure code coverage and robust test case scenarios
- Interact with project and client teams to ensure we have proper business and technical requirements for development efforts
- Understand UI/UX, cross-browser compatibility, mobile web compatibility, and general web functionality and standards
- Experience utilizing web applications and programming languages, as well as integration with TPA-third party applications
- Meeting with clients or management to discuss the design plan and development needs of the website
- Writing code for the website
- Collaborating with team members to determine the website’s layout, content, and design
- Integrating graphics, audio, and video into the website
- Creating and testing applications for the website
- Monitoring website traffic and making adjustments and recommendations to lower abandon rates, etc.
Required Skills:
- Strong expertise with Vue.js Experience with Vue 2 to Vue 3 migration highly desirable
- Familiarity with.NET and C# to support back end code
- 5+ years of experience in web development
- Webpack or similar front-end development tools
- CSS
- Knowledge of ecommerce web development
- Industry knowledge in electrical engineering. An EE degree is preferred
- Experience with Kentico CMS is helpful but not required
