Remote Technical Product Owner

  Serve as the Product Owner for a dedicated Agile scrum team (typically 10-14 engineers)

  n

  Collaborate daily with Engineering Managers, Architects, Scrum Masters, and business stakeholders

  n
n
• n

  Translate business needs into actionable product requirements and priorities

  n
n
• n

  Refine and manage product backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria

  n
n
• n

  Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and prioritization activities

  n
n
• n

  Partner with technical teams to ensure successful delivery of strategic initiatives

  n
n
• n

  Facilitate communication between business and technology organizations

  n
n
• n

  Identify dependencies, risks, and blockers while driving solutions forward

  n
n
• n

  Support one of several key Thrivent domains, including:

  n
n

--Transactions, Payments, and Banking

--Mutual Funds, Brokerage, and Investment Platforms

--Digital Identity and Access Management

--Enterprise Document Management Solutions

• Act as a collaborative partner to engineering teams, helping deliver business value while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships

  5+ years of Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar Agile product delivery experience

  n

• n

  Experience supporting highly technical engineering teams

  n

• n

  Experience partnering closely with Engineering Managers, Architects, and Scrum Teams

  n

• n

  Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

  n
n
• n

  Proven ability to gather business requirements, prioritize work, and drive delivery outcomes

  n

• n

  Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

  n
n
• n

  Ability to facilitate collaboration between business and technical teams

  n
n
• n

  Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

  n

• n

  Experience leading discussions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  n

• n

  Ability to quickly learn complex business domains and technical landscapes - Financial Services experience

  n

• n

  Local to Minneapolis

  n
n
• n

  Banking, payments, transaction processing, or brokerage experience

  n
n
• n

  Identity and Access Management (IAM) experience

  n
n
• n

  Digital Identity, authentication, registration, or login platform experience

  n

• n

  API, integration, or enterprise application experience

  n
n
• n

  Industry experience with exposure to transactional systems
