Raytheon’s Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Surface Radars & Sensors Center is seeking Systems Engineers interested in ocean engineering. Our Portsmouth, RI team primarily supports programs in the naval undersea and naval surface domains including sensor systems, mine countermeasures, submarines, torpedoes, combat systems, and ship architecture/integration. Our engineers perform underwater acoustics analysis and tracking, develop and manage system requirements, integrate hardware and software, develop test plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, and verify system requirements in support of final sell-off to the customer.
Support planning and execution of Integration, Verification, or Test activities
Conduct requirement analysis to ensure system designs meet program objectives and customer needs.
Support software/hardware integration efforts, collaborating with software teams to ensure seamless functionality.
Stay up to date with advancements in data analysis techniques, and Integration, Verification, or Test practices.
After completion of comprehensive on-the-job training, the candidate will be a part of a team supporting Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) activities across the product development lifecycle.
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
Experience with system software, system hardware, system requirements and/or test.
Experience developing and managing requirements using DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo, or other digital engineering tools, including application of model-based and digital engineering practices.
Experience working in an integration lab, test facility, or field environment supporting integration and/or verification to ensure the system under test performs according to specifications/requirements
Experience presenting technical findings, analyses, and solutions to leadership and customers.
