TEMPORARY Staff Accountant REMOTE
$46/hour
Fully Remote (Preference for candidates located in NJ or PA and within commuting distance for occasional meetings)
37.5 Hours/Week | Monday-Friday
Temporary Assignment: October 26, 2026 - December 18, 2026
We are partnering with a highly respected organization to identify a detail-oriented Staff Accountant for a short-term project assignment. This role will support financial reporting, supplier management, reconciliations, and process improvement initiatives while working closely with finance and procurement teams. The ideal candidate has a strong accounting foundation, excellent Excel skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support financial reporting, accounting activities, and reconciliations
- Assist with supplier onboarding, maintenance, and ACH verification processes
- Analyze data, run reports, and research discrepancies
- Participate in system testing, process improvements, and special projects
- Provide administrative and operational support to finance and procurement teams
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience with financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and reconciliations
- Strong Microsoft Excel and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Workday experience is a plus
