Walmart Sre
Team manages all major applications for Walmart Health and Wellness
Existing clinics and new clinics – Existing clinics are in 24 different locations – 4 new clinics are opened in Florida
The EMR system is different between existing clinics and new clinics
Epiq will be managed by Walmart directly
Other applications connect to the EMR
This team breaks down into 3 functions – SRE (Automation, break fix, troubleshooting), Production Engineering (day to day operational support), Infrastructure (development teams want to do performance testing – spin up the environment)
Scripting, bash, PowerShell, python etc
Open to AWS, Azure or GCP
WCNP – Walmart Cloud Native Platform – this team will work closely with this development team – understand CI/CD – Gitlab, Jenkins
IaC – Terraform/CloudFormation
Observability is a must have – tools with Dynatrace, Datadog, New Relic, Grafana, etc
Must Haves:
- Observability – must have monitoring experience of different platforms
- AWS, Azure or GCP cloud engineering
- Automation – Python, Powershell, Perl, etc
Nice to Have:
- Production Support/Application Support
