Full‑time position for a Senior Government Underwriter in Atlanta.

Responsibilities
- Review all loan files to ensure adherence to Government, Investor, and GSE guidelines.
- Issue loan approvals and declines in compliance with RESPA and ECOA.
- Condition loans per program and federal requirements.
- Perform quality assurance reviews on non‑delegated or brokered files.
- Issue clear‑to‑close on all underwritten loan files.
- Manage the pipeline to meet turnaround and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate resolution of any audit deficiencies with Quality Assurance and Management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience and in‑depth knowledge of mortgage lending credit underwriting and collateral review.
- Working knowledge of conventional and government guidelines, and Federal and State compliance requirements.
- FHA DE certification required.
- VA designation required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem‑solving and client‑service focus.
- Ability to manage daily pipeline and meet monthly production and quality goals.
- Experience in fraud detection; USDA knowledge preferred.
