An opportunity is available for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in school-based services within Madison Heights, MI. This role focuses on providing teletherapy and in-person support to middle school students, emphasizing developmentally disabled populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students aged 11-13 (middle school level)
- Manage a caseload within a single school setting
- Implement teletherapy techniques alongside traditional speech-language pathology methods
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to facilitate student communication development
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and session data
Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan SLP license
- Current Michigan Teaching Certificate with SB endorsement (Speech and Language Impairment)
- ASHA Certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Experience working with developmentally disabled students is highly desirable
- Skills in telespeech and teletherapy intervention preferred
