Position: Remote Snowflake Certified Architect / Senior Developer

JD: We are seeking a Snowflake Certified Architect / Senior Developer with deep experience in data warehousing, cloud data platforms, and machine learning implementation. The ideal candidate will design scalable Snowflake architecture, optimize performance, and collaborate with data science teams to operationalize ML use cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement scalable data warehouse solutions using Snowflake
- Lead end-to-end Snowflake migrations, data modeling (Star/Snowflake Schema), and ELT/ETL pipelines
- Develop and optimize Snowflake features including Snowpipe, Streams & Tasks, Data Sharing, and Time Travel
- Build and operationalize machine learning models using Python, SQL, and cloud-native ML services (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Implement MLOps workflows for automated model training, deployment, versioning, and monitoring
- Integrate Snowflake with data engineering and analytics tools such as dbt, Airflow, Kafka, FiveTran, Informatica, etc.
- Ensure data security, governance, and compliance following best practices (RBAC, masking, encryption)
- Performance tuning of Snowflake warehouses, storage costs, clustering, materialized views
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business, data engineering, and data science
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architectural standards and best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Snowflake Architect or Advanced Certification required
- 10+ years in Data Engineering / DW development
- 7+ years hands-on experience with Snowflake platform
- Strong SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning skills
- Experience with Python for data processing and ML model development
- Cloud experience: AWS / Azure / GCP
- Hands-on with ELT frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps tools
- Machine Learning knowledge: feature engineering, model training, deployment & optimization
- Experience with data loading tools (Spark, Glue, Kafka, DBT, etc.)
- Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, and security architectures
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Kubernetes / Docker / Serverless compute
- Experience with Snowpark for Python and ML within Snowflake
- Knowledge of real-time streaming architectures
- Experience with Looker, Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools
