Next-generation risk assessment – divesting from binary underwriting and revisioning risk selection utilizing mega data, AI and curiosity. Modernized underwriting using cutting edge technology to more accurately and quickly assess risk, price and bespoke coverage/terms to profitably grow and manage a book of business spanning Habitational and Lessors Risk Only (LRO) package and excess liability. Quote and release new and renewal Lessors Risk Only (LRO) and habitational business that has been either referred from underwriting algorithm or seeking changes that exceed user authority thresholds
Analyze and approve requested policy changes across the LRO and Habitational portfolio
Maintain familiarity and compliance with state insurance regulations and ISO rules for all states within assigned underwriting territory
Monitor portfolio composition via reports, audits and inspections
Complete special projects and assignments
Some travel as deemed necessary %
4+ years of underwriting/insurance experience with a strong LRO background required; Commercial Habitational and Specialty Property experience is a valued addition to that background, not a standalone requirement
~ Bachelors degree or equivalent education/experience preferred
~ This position is remote in the East Region.
Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 (Pending Experience) + Bonus
