~ Strong fluency with Linux tools, debugging, and performance analysis
~ Strong familiarity with Linux packaging tools and usage such as Yum, Apt, dpkg, Rpm
~ Should be comfortable using Python, BASH, or other high-level languages to automate repetitive tasks, analyze logs, and identify performance bottlenecks
~ Familiarity with SQL and Databases. SQL scripting (Postgres direct experience a plus)
~ Deep expertise on the linux command line and tools to diagnose issues and optimize performance
~ Strong debugging and system diagnostics for performance analysis and problem determination
~ Experience working with Web services such as HTML, Nginx, CGI, and Apache
~ Competent network and network troubleshooting skills
~ Windows administration experience a plus
~ Experience with data protection, migration, or archiving software (i.e., STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) background preferred. S. on a full-time basis.
