Remote Senior Project ManagerRemote Senior Project Manager is responsible for the planning, safety, execution, and financial management of low voltage construction projects with a cumulative yearly dollar value over $7MM.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesProvide overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of simultaneous complex cabling projects within various verticalsWork with Operations Team and Safety Manager to provide appropriate PPE and SafetyAbility to profitably manage large scale construction projects while consistently maintaining revenue of $7MM with strong marginsManagement and development of OPM I and OPM IIDirect and supervise work of project administration, project superintendents, and engineers to establish operational priorities and maintain satisfactory relationships with owners, subcontractors, unions, etc.Enforce project reporting requirementsServe as escalation point regarding critical project issuesAssume overall accountability for jobsite safety and qualityProvide technical expertise to field team and project managersForecast and track labor costs to maximize productivity and costs.Invoice projects quickly to maximize cash flowUtilize technology and project dashboards to track project milestones, timelines, and profitabilityApprove and sign all material invoices and technician timesheetsGenerate and submit change order pricing for all items outside the approved original scope of work up to value $500k.Perform on-site inspections of local work locations at the start of the project, midpoint, and completionProvide required documentation including 'as-built' drawings, cable certification reports, and applicable warrantiesDevelop new subcontractor relationships; strengthen existing relationshipsOther duties as assignedAbility to support the SW RegionAbility to travel 20%Job RequirementsBachelor's degree or equitable years' experience and industry certifications10 years' in construction project management including 5 years' managing large scale construction projectsMastry of project methodology and processCreate and manage annual goals of direct reports, supporting bi-annual reviews and opportunities to coach for successProven success mentoring and managing junior talent to support their growth and projectProven success managing complex projects with strong project marginsStrong MS office skillsProficiency with current technologies and low voltage productsIndustry and Manufacturer's CertificationExperience creating change orders up to $500kThe worker is subject to inside and outside environmental conditions while working or reviewing customer work locations.This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee incumbent in this position.
