Remote Risk Management Writer

To support the VA ESOM contract, the full-time Remote Risk Management Technical Writer will document disaster recovery tabletop exercises, prepare exercise plans and participant materials, and produce after-action reports while working remotely within the United States. Key responsibilities Develop and maintain exercise plans, agendas, and participant guides for tabletop exercises Review technical source material and create clear descriptions of application architecture and recovery procedures Produce after-action reports and improvement plans that align findings with exercise objectives Required qualifications 5 years of relevant experience in technical writing for complex IT programs Experience producing technical reports, plans, and after-action reports Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including styles and templates Ability to understand and accurately explain technical discussions to diverse audiences Strong document management skills, including handling multiple documents and deadlines
