Seeking a part-time Remote Psychiatrist (MD or DO) to provide clinical supervision and support to psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners through telehealth, focusing on patient-centered care and evidence-based practices. Key responsibilities Collaborate with PMHNPs to treat low- and medium-acuity psychiatry patients Conduct chart reviews and provide guidance on diagnoses, treatment plans, and medication management Authorize prescriptions and mentor clinicians on clinical standards and responsible prescribing protocols Required qualifications Active, unrestricted physician license (MD or DO) in at least one U.S. jurisdiction Active DEA registration or valid prescribing authority Board certification or eligibility in psychiatry Experience supervising nurse practitioners and exercising independent clinical judgment Commitment to a minimum one-year tenure with the team
