REMOTE PST - Site Merchandising Specialist

Job Description

A Product Management team at a large software and gaming company is looking for a Site Merchandising Specialist to join a growing team. This person will drive the visual presentation and placement of offers in the Item Shop, in order to drive revenue maximization by merchandising the right products in the right places to appeal to players. You will collaborate with the team that determines the daily assortment of products to be sold, Marketing teams that support big product beats, PM and tech teams that own the shop tech, the art team who create the new items that we launch into the store, and a broader variety of additional stakeholders. You will succeed by taking ownership of the outputs, driving our important KPIs including revenue, conversion rate, and creating a long-lasting brand image that will keep players coming back on a recurring basis.

In this role, you will

●Implement merchandising for the Item Shop in a way that is appealing to players, with refreshes on daily basis

●Drive the tools that place items into the item shop, and be responsible for QA of the output

●Implement team plans for assortment planning, product bundles, and visual presentation

●QA the Item Shop and price points to ensure a seamless experience for players

●Collaboration with Production to feed requirements for building of display assets

●Taxonomy: Classification and tagging of new content as it launches

Skills and Requirements

●3+ years Merchandising experience across games, live operations, ecommerce site merchandising, or related fields.

●Experience with a CMS and running large scale assortments through an e commerce site

●Understanding of the principles of effective merchandising

●Strong design/aesthetic sensibilities

●A passion for games

●Demonstrated ability to contribute in a fast-paced, collaborative team

●Understanding of data driven decision making ●Gaming background
