To support care coordination services, the Remote Prior Authorization Specialist will process tasks related to insurance verifications, prior authorizations, and electronic filing while working part-time in a remote capacity with a schedule aligned to the Alaska time zone. Key responsibilities: Process assigned tasks with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with client protocols Evaluate and electronically file medical documents into patient charts using client EHR software Provide exemplary customer service while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines Required qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required Experience with health information management concepts, EHRs, and/or medical terminology is a plus Proficient in managing a high-volume, fast-paced environment with accuracy Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and adaptability to company-specific software Ability to fulfill responsibilities in a remote capacity with reliable internet access
