- Process and verify prescription orders accurately and efficiently in a remote setting
- Communicate with patients, providers, and insurance companies to resolve prescription-related inquiries
- Perform prior authorization support and benefits investigation for patient medications
- Maintain accurate patient profiles and medication records in pharmacy management systems
- Assist pharmacists with data entry, order processing, and medication dispensing workflows
- Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations, HIPAA, and company policies
- Identify and escalate prescription discrepancies or clinical concerns to the supervising pharmacist
- Active California Pharmacy Technician license or registration required
- National certification (CPhT) through PTCB or NHA preferred
- Minimum 1–2 years of pharmacy technician experience (retail, mail-order, or specialty)
- Proficiency with pharmacy management software and electronic health records (EHR)
- Strong attention to detail with excellent data entry accuracy
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, distraction-free home workspace
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-first, customer service mindset
