SMIL is seeking a full-time overnight Neuroradiologist to join their ER section. This remote position offers a flexible 7-on/14-off schedule and the opportunity to moonlight during off weeks. The role involves interpreting emergency, urgent care, and inpatient imaging for HonorHealth, servicing 6 hospitals, including 3 Level 1 trauma centers.

Practice Info

  • SMIL is a 70+ highly subspecialized radiology practice based in Scottsdale, AZ.
  • The ER section has 18 members, including dedicated 6 FTE of overnight coverage.
  • The practice owns and operates nearly 20 outpatient imaging centers in the Valley.
  • Serves a healthcare network consisting of 6 hospitals (3 Level 1 trauma centers).
  • Utilizes a locally-managed AI-enabled IT Platform with 24x7 IT support and a dedicated communications team.
  • Uses PowerScribe, InteleRad, and Epic for an efficient, connected workflow.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret emergency, urgent care, and inpatient imaging for HonorHealth.
  • Work includes CT, X-ray, and US.
  • Does not perform MRI, IR, or nucs, unless desired.

Compensation

  • Salary plus comprehensive benefit package - base salary plus productivity bonuses.
  • Partnership track preferred + additional shareholder opportunity with the physician owned SMIL Outpatient Imaging Centers.
  • The salary range for this position is $500,000-$600,000.
  • This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

Shift & Schedule

  • Overnight/3rd Shift.
  • Full-time (30+ hrs/week).
  • 7-on/14-off schedule.
  • 10pm - 7am (AZ Time).
  • Ability to moonlight internally during off weeks for outpatient and inpatient exams.

Requirements

  • Fellows and residents welcome to apply.
  • BE or certified by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology.
  • Neuroradiology fellowship required.
  • CAQ preferred.
