Overview
REMOTE Outbound Patient Coordinator (Call Center) – Contract position that could go permanent. Must have medical/healthcare experience in outbound call center / customer service. Fully remote position with a 100% remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to patients to schedule appointments for a medical office
- Confirm and update patient information in the scheduling system
- Provide clear information regarding appointment details, preparation, and follow-up instructions
- Handle patient questions or concerns professionally, escalating when necessary
- Meet daily/weekly call volume and scheduling targets
- Maintain accurate records of calls and scheduling outcomes
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of call center experience (medical scheduling experience is a plus)
- Strong phone communication and active listening skills
- Ability to work independently in a 100% remote environment with reliable internet and quiet workspace
- Proficient with computer systems and scheduling software
