Location: Fully Remote
Schedule: Full-Time | 5 Days per Week | Overnight Coverage
Salary: $120,000 Annually
License Requirement: Active New York State Nurse Practitioner License REQUIRED

We are seeking a strong, highly proactive Nurse Practitioner who is actively licensed in New York State to provide remote overnight clinical coverage for approximately 6–7 healthcare facilities.

Candidates who are not currently licensed as Nurse Practitioners in New York State will not be considered for this position.

This is not a passive on-call role. The provider is expected to take ownership of the overnight workload, proactively communicate with nursing supervisors, review patients requiring attention, address clinical concerns, follow up on outstanding issues, and ensure all encounters and interventions are properly documented.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote overnight clinical coverage for approximately 6–7 assigned healthcare facilities
• Proactively communicate with nursing supervisors at each facility throughout the shift
• Review patients requiring follow-up, evaluation, or clinical intervention
• Respond to changes in patient condition and provide appropriate medical guidance
• Review medications, labs, symptoms, and other relevant clinical information
• Provide orders and treatment recommendations within scope of practice
• Follow up on outstanding patient issues throughout the night
• Maintain complete, accurate, and timely documentation for every patient encounter
• Ensure appropriate handoff of significant clinical issues
• Remain consistently available and responsive throughout the entire overnight shift
• Take ownership of the assigned facilities rather than simply responding to incoming calls

Requirements

• MUST hold an active and unrestricted New York State Nurse Practitioner license
• New York licensure is required at the time of application
• Medicaid and Medicare approved/enrolled
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to make independent clinical decisions
• Comfortable managing multiple healthcare facilities simultaneously
• Highly proactive, organized, and responsive
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Dependable and consistently available throughout the overnight shift
• Previous experience in SNF, long-term care, primary care, overnight/on-call coverage, or remote patient management strongly preferred

Compensation & Schedule

• $120,000 annual salary

We are looking for a provider who will actively manage the assigned facilities —communicating with supervisors, reviewing patient needs, following up on clinical concerns, and taking full ownership of overnight provider coverage.

Again, an active New York State Nurse Practitioner license is mandatory for this position.
