Remote opportunity for an attorney based within reasonable commuting distance of the New York City metropolitan area. Candidates must be able to travel into the NYC area as needed for court appearances, depositions, meetings, mediations, and other litigation-related responsibilities.

Candidates must have 3+ years of attorney experience and active bar admission in both New York and New Jersey. Confidential Employer. Independently manage civil litigation matters from initial evaluation through resolution or trial. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, reports, and other substantive legal documents. Handle defense matters involving general liability, personal injury, catastrophic injury, transportation, premises liability, product liability, and related disputes. Travel into the NYC metropolitan area as necessary for litigation activities.

3+ years of attorney experience.

Meaningful civil litigation experience.

Ability to independently manage litigation files and deadlines.

Strong legal research, writing, oral advocacy, and communication skills.

Defense litigation, insurance defense, casualty defense, tort defense, or general liability experience preferred.
