About The Project
Fixpoint is hiring First-Line Supervisors of Food Preparation and Serving Workers for a research project at a leading AI company. You will use your expertise to explain the challenges and skillsets of your job, explain what excellence looks like in your profession, and design questions related to your occupation as a First-Line Supervisor of Food Preparation and Serving Workers.
You’re a good fit if you’ve supervised food prep or other food servers
- in the restaurant industry
- at a hospital or healthcare facility
- at a catering business
- in the hospitality industry at a hotel
or have similar experience.
Requirements
Must-have qualifications
- Have 5+ years full-time work experience in Accommodation and Food Services
- Native-level English skills
- U.S. residency
- Access to a laptop or desktop computer and reliable internet
- Availability for at least 10 hours per week during the 3- to 4-week engagement (work is fully asynchronous and on your own schedule)
Nice-to-haves
- ServSafe ® Manager or equivalent food-safety certification
- Prior experience writing training materials or SOPs
Benefits
Compensation & logistics
- Hourly pay: $25 - $50, commensurate with experience and project fit
- Hourly rate may be higher for exceptional candidates
- Paid weekly via Fixpoint, based on approved hours
- You will be classified as 1099 independent-contractor status; engagement is at-will
- Entirely remote; work whenever you like as long as deadlines are met
