HR Analyst - Leave Programs (Remote)
Insight Global is partnering with a large public-sector organization seeking a remote Human Resources Analyst - Leave Programs to support and administer complex leave and disability programs in a fully remote environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys navigating HR compliance, supporting employees through critical life events, and working across HR, payroll, and benefits teams.
Position Details
- Title: HR Analyst - Leave Programs
- Location: Remote
- Duration: 3-month contract with potential extension
- Pay Rate: $39- $41/hour
What You'll Do
- Administer employee leave programs including FMLA, short-term disability, long-term disability, parental leave, leave without pay, and leave donations.
- Review and process leave requests and disability claims.
- Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and HRIS teams to ensure accurate employee records and timely processing.
- Provide guidance to employees and leaders regarding leave eligibility, policies, and procedures.
- Interpret and apply applicable leave regulations, policies, and employment laws.
- Maintain leave and benefits information within Workday and other HR systems.
- Support compliance efforts through reporting, data analysis, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with vendors regarding disability and benefits claims administration.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of leave administration experience is a MUST to be considered
- Strong experience managing FMLA, disability, and related leave programs
- Experience working within Workday
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Strong understanding of leave laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting state, local, or federal government organizations.
