Detail-oriented and customer-focused, the full-time Remote Healthcare Prior Authorization Representative will assist patients in obtaining coverage for prescription medications through inbound and outbound calls while adhering to call center metrics and HIPAA regulations. Key responsibilities Assist patients with obtaining coverage for prescription medications Manage inbound and outbound calls to patients, guarantors, payors, and payees Utilize call center software for account research and documentation updates Required qualifications At least 1 year of recent medical insurance verification or benefits experience Previous experience in prior authorization and knowledge of HIPAA regulations Must have a quiet and secure location to work from home High-speed internet with hard-wired modem access (no hotspots accepted) Computer proficiency with the ability to learn new software and navigate multiple screens
