UConn Health Community Network is seeking an experienced Remote General Radiologist to provide general diagnostic radiology coverage for community hospitals and outpatient imaging sites.
This is a fully remote, part-time position (minimum 0.5 FTE) using a UConn Health-provided PACS workstation. The position includes weekday daytime and evening shifts with no weekend or call coverage.

Responsibilities
- Interpret STAT, emergency, inpatient, and outpatient examinations, including radiography, CT, ultrasound, and other modalities consistent with training.
- Prioritize time-sensitive studies and meet departmental turnaround expectations.
- Provide clear, clinically focused reports and communicate critical findings to referring clinicians.
- Provide evening general radiology coverage and appropriate handoff of pending or time-sensitive cases.
- Provide clinician consultation and imaging protocoling support.
- Collaborate with on-site and remote radiologists, technologists, and community-site teams.
- Participate in peer review, quality improvement, and departmental standardization initiatives.
Qualifications
- MD/DO with completion of an ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency.
- ABR certification in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Demonstrated proficiency in radiography, CT, ultrasound, and emergency, inpatient, and outpatient imaging.
- Connecticut medical license or eligibility for licensure.
- Eligibility for UConn community faculty appointment and applicable medical staff privileges.
- Ability to maintain a secure, private remote reading environment with high-speed internet.
- Availability to work a minimum of 0.5 FTE during scheduled weekday daytime and evening shifts.
Preferred: Fellowship training in a diagnostic radiology subspecialty, teleradiology or multi-site experience, and community hospital experience.
